Midfielder Matt Butcher has left Wycombe Wanderers to join Salford City on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Bristol Rovers, and has played most of his football in League One.
Butcher began his career at Bournemouth and had spells at Accrington Stanley, Plymouth Argyle, Yeovil Town and St Johnstone in Scotland.
He is Salford’s second signing of the week, following defender Michael Rose’s acquisition, and hopes he can pass on his huge experience to his team-mates.
“On the pitch, I’m a midfielder, and I’m pretty comfortable in different positions,” he told Salford’s website, external.
