Volunteer Now, in partnership with the Arts Council of Northern Ireland (ACNI), is offering free one‑to‑one safeguarding advice clinics for ACNI clients.
These tailored Zoom sessions provide practical guidance on how to build safe, responsible environments for participants, staff and volunteers. They’re ideal for arts and cultural organisations that want to strengthen their safeguarding policies or refresh their knowledge of current standards.
Each session will cover key areas such as
- safe recruitment procedures
- definitions of regulated activity for both children and adults
- developing and maintaining an effectiveCode of Behaviour
- safe online communication with children and young people
Sessions are delivered by Volunteer Now’s safeguarding specialists, who will offer clear, actionable advice based on your organisation’s needs.
