New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson sought solace in a date night with his wife, Ciara, after a tough start to life in the Big Apple.
Wilson, who arrived in New York in free agency this offseason, and the Giants slumped to 0-2 to start the season after a narrow overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys at the weekend.
However, the signal caller appeared to bounce back from the brutal defeat by hitting the town with his wife of nine years.
The R&B singer, who recently hosted the House of ESPN event for New York Fashion Week, shared snaps of her and her NFL beau looking loved-up in front of the stunning backdrop of the Big Apple skyline.
The Super Bowl winner was seen affectionately embracing the songstress from behind and planting a kiss on her neck as Leon Thomas’s ‘YES IT IS,’ played over the top of the Instagram story.
In a separate photo, the love-up couple were pictured snuggling up together as they posed for an adorable selfie.

Despite the results not going his way on the field, it appears Wilson and Ciara are adjusting to the fast-paced life of New York City.
The ‘Goodies’ singer was also recently spotted soaking up the action at the US Open when she stepped out in Flushing Meadows to watch American tennis sensation Coco Gauff.
The couple, who share three children as well as Ciara’s son Future Zahir from her previous relationship with rapper Future, arrived in New York this summer after the quarterback signed a one-year contract worth up to $21million with the Giants in free agency.
However, his tenure with Big Blue got off to a shaky start with a disappointing performance in New York’s loss to the Washington Commanders in Week 1.
But the NFL veteran looked to have bounced back with some heroics last week when he forced overtime against the franchise’s divisional rivals.
With the Giants trailing the Cowboys 34-30 with 33 seconds remaining in regulation, Wilson launched a 48-yard bomb to Malik Nabers to retake the lead for New York.
However, Dallas had an answer for the quarterback’s heroics.
After getting the ball back with just 25 seconds left in the game after the late Nabers score (which was his second of the day), the Cowboys managed to tie the game as time expired with a 64-yard field goal from Brandon Aubrey.

The NFC East rivals then traded possessions in overtime as Wilson threw a critical interception, giving Dallas and Aubrey a second chance to win the game in the extra period.
The kicker ultimately did just that as he nailed a 46-yarder to seal the victory for Dallas.
The loss will come as a massive blow for the Giants, as they moved to 0-2 on the season despite producing 506 yards of total offense.
