The Rural Micro Capital Grant is now accepting applications offering up to £2,000 to social enterprises, groups and voluntary organisations
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) has opened applications for the Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme (RMCGS) 2025/26.
Rural community groups, voluntary organisations and Social Economy Enterprises can apply for grants between £500 and £2,000 to fund projects tackling locally identified issues of poverty and/or social isolation.
Project eligibility guidelines
Projects should focus on one of these areas
- modernisation of buildings or equipment
- Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
- health and wellbeing
- energy efficiency or environmental improvements
