Roy Keane left his fellow pundits in hysterics after the former Manchester United captain launched into a rant over Ian Wright’s demands for him to dance.
Keane had poked fun at Wright and Jill Scott on The Overlap, brought to you by Sky Bet.
He teased that the pair had been invited to Gary Neville’s 50th birthday party, joking that they had to be invited due to the podcast.
Wright issued a quick response by highlighting the former Man United hardman’s unwillingness to join them on the dancefloor during Neville’s celebrations earlier this month.
‘At least we were dancing, you never got up once,’ the former Arsenal forward said.
‘You know what’s annoying, he’s sitting there and dancing on the chair… get up.’

Keane mocked Wright’s claims of knee pain on a hike before quickly recovering to dance

Keane branded Wright as being ‘so annoying’ as he claimed he likes watching people dance
Wright’s comment provoked a typically animated response from Keane, who noted that the Gunners’ legend had made a startling recovery from his knee complaint – following a recent surgery – when the time came to dance.
‘Wrighty, you are so annoying, you know sometimes you go to a party… I like watching people dance, I do, I watch my family dance,’ Keane said.
‘You’ve had your say… there are other people not dancing and people are coming up saying ‘dance’, well there are other people not dancing!
‘Listen to this guy here, for two days on the hike he is like ‘oh my knee, oh my knee’, then Prince comes on and Michael Jackson is in the house.
‘He’s there dancing and I’m like ‘you couldn’t walk for two days.’
The 53-year-old became increasingly animated when Scott suggested he had appeared ‘moody’.
‘I was not moody, I was loving it, for Christ sake, I am sick of it,’ Keane continued.
‘People going come on dance, I don’t want to f***ing dance.

Keane’s rant saw fellow pundits Jamie Carragher and Wright to burst into laughter
‘I’ve danced for years and people are saying ‘get off the dance floor’ and now I don’t want to dance people are saying ‘get on the dance floor’.’
Keane’s animated rant caused fellow pundits Jamie Carragher and Wright to burst into laughter as the ex-Man United captain grew increasingly frustrated.
The duo were then quick to note that Keane’s family had been ‘well represented’ on the dancefloor despite his unwillingness to join them.
