Rory McIlroy has landed back in Florida with his family after sealing a second-successive Masters victory.

The Northern Irishman triumphed at Augusta to join Tiger Woods, Sir Nick Faldo and Jack Nicklaus as the only players to ever win back-to-back green jackets.

He also secured $4.5million in prize money, taking his career earnings to nearly $120m.

McIlroy’s parents – Gerry and Rosie – were there alongside his wife, Erica Stoll, and daughter, Poppy, to celebrate a dramatic win on Sunday night.

And on Tuesday, the six-time major champion was pictured leaving a private jet with Erica after they flew back to Miami.

McIlroy appeared to be carrying several bags of shopping as he left the aircraft. The Northern Irishman owns a Gulfstream G650ER which is reportedly valued between $40-60m, with a round trip to Augusta said to cost around $7,300 in fuel.

Back in 2012, McIlroy bought a mansion in the golf enclave of Jupiter, Florida, with his $22m house located inside Jack Nicklaus’ prestigious Bear’s Club.

Last summer, meanwhile, McIlroy and Stoll moved in a newly-built home in Wentworth, another golf haven not far from London. That came a year after McIlroy filed for divorce, only for the couple to reunite soon after.

On Sunday, the 36-year-old survived a nail-biting finish to secure his second green jacket with a one-shot victory over Scottie Scheffler.

During the dramatic final round, McIlroy overcame the likes of Scheffler, Justin Rose, Cameron Young and Tyrrell Hatton.

His family were beside the 18th green when he sealed victory and, in emotional scenes at Augusta, McIlroy was greeted by his five-year-old daughter, who gave him a hug.

He then kissed Stoll before paying a teary tribute to his family. ‘I’m so glad that they got to experience this today. We’re all going to have a great time tonight,’ a choked-up McIlroy said.

‘I was a little kid with a dream, and the support that I have from my family, my friends, everyone back home…’

‘Some people probably thought it was outlandish to dream the things that I wanted to do. but I had amazing support from back home, and can’t thank them all enough for that continued support.’

He added: ‘My mum and dad – they weren’t here last year to celebrate with us and surprisingly I had to convince them to come this year because they thought the reason I won was because they weren’t here… I’m glad we proved that wrong, so they can keep coming as long as they want.’

McIlroy said it was ‘really cool’ to have his parents at Augusta. ‘I caught myself on the golf course a couple of times thinking about them, and I was like: “No, not yet, not yet,’ he said.

‘They missed it last year, and the first thing I wanted to do was fly home to see them because I obviously wouldn’t be sitting up here if it wasn’t for them… it’s amazing to have them here.’

On Erica and Poppy, he added: ”They have to put up with me at home and – trust me – at times, that’s a tough thing to do…  but they’ve been my biggest supporters and this has definitely turned into Poppy’s favorite week of the year.’
