Robert Lewandowski’s wife Anna Lewandowska took to Instagram on Monday to share footage of significant flood water in and around the luxury home she shares with the Barcelona striker.
More than 200 people have been confirmed dead after flash floods devastated Valencia last week.
It is feared that the eventual death toll will be much higher as many people are still missing.
On Monday, the Spanish weather service issued a red alert for parts of Catalonia due to more flash flooding and further forecasts of torrential rain.
Barcelona’s main airport has cancelled or delayed more than 80 flights, while train services have been suspended.

Football star Lewandowski and personal trainer Lewandowska live in Castelldefels, around 15 miles west of Barcelona along the coast.
They are currently said to be renting a three-story house worth around £3.3million from Real Betis defender Marc Bartra.
Videos posted by Lewandowska on Monday showed around two inches of floodwater in their garage.
Other videos of the nearby area shared by Lewandowska showed much heavier flooding.
In one video, an abandoned car was seen almost totally submerged in the street, while another showed two vehicles attempting to drive along a coastal road despite the water almost reaching the top of their bonnets.

On Monday, Valencia, Levante and Valencian side Manises, saw their scheduled games in the Copa del Rey postponed for a second time.
Barcelona’s next three games are away from home, starting with Wednesday night’s Champions League trip to Red Star Belgrade.
