Help improve support for women in business by taking part in the Rise Report survey
The Rise Report on Female Entrepreneurship is one of the largest surveys of female business owners in the UK. It is due to be published in January 2026. The project is led by Female Founders Rise, Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University, and is supported by Barclays UK.
Personal identity, background, and lived experience all influence the process of starting and growing a business. These factors affect access to funding, confidence, and support networks.
The survey aims to gather insights into these experiences to inform better support and contribute to a more inclusive business environment. It also aims to give a clear picture of what female entrepreneurship looks like in the UK today, helping track progress and guide future changes.
