A £20,000 reward has been offered for information about the murder of a 26-year-old man who was shot dead in a tower block in Motherwell.
Jordan Gray’s body was found in at his flat in Shields Court at 14:30 on 18 December. Police Scotland confirmed he suffered fatal injuries “consistent with being shot by a firearm”.
Charity Crimestoppers said that despite extensive inquires the gun used in the killing has never been found.
They are offering the reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
Angela Parker, National Manager for Scotland at Crimestoppers, said some people are “reluctant” to contact police but reports to the charity can be made completely anonymously.
She said: “This was a shocking act of violence that took the life of a young man in his own home and left a community fearful and grieving.
“What you tell us could bring justice for Jordan, his family, and the community. Even the smallest piece of information could help find those responsible for Jordan’s death.”
She urged anyone with information to get in contact.
