Bill Belichick’s children are not totally sold on his controversial relationship with Jordon Hudson despite wanting the best for their dad, according to reports.
Belichick, 73, and Hudson, 24, made headlines for all the wrong reasons last week when the latter interrupted her boyfriend’s car-crash interview with CBS in a painfully awkward moment which quickly went viral on social media.
The infamous exchange, which saw her shut down a grilling over their love life, sparked a wave of fears from fans – and even Bill’s close friends – over the dynamic of their relationship and how much control Jordon has over it.
According to People, Belichick’s three children – whom he welcomed with ex-wife Debby – have ‘hesitations’ about their dad’s romance with a woman almost 50 years his junior.
A source is quoted as saying that Amanda, 41, Stephen, 38, and Brian, 37 are rooting for their dad despite also holding concerns.
‘His children want the best for their dad but like most family members, they hope this is a good choice for him,’ the insider said.

However, they added that the relationship ‘is real despite the age difference.’
The contentious couple are said to share the ‘same interests’ and they ‘enjoy being together.’
‘He is extremely private and anything she can do to keep that vibe is fine with him. He wants that.’
At the end of April, Belichick’s daughter-in-law Jennifer lashed out at Hudson for ‘storming off’ and not acting in a ‘professional manner’ during the disastrous interview with CBS.
In the aftermath of the controversy, further reports emerged shedding light on Jordon’s alleged shocking on-set behavior and her involvement in her partner’s professional life – including the publicity surrounding his upcoming book.
And amid widespread criticism of her antics, she was slammed by Jennifer Belichick – the wife of Bill’s oldest son Stephen.
On an Instagram post which showed former New England Patriots star Julian Edelman sticking up for his old coach’s girlfriend by claiming she was merely acting how any PR person would, American comedian Nikki Glaser also defended Hudson in the comments.

Jennifer, the wife of Belichick’s oldest son Stephen, hit out at Jordon in a message to Nikki Glaser after the comedian defended her antics during the interview
‘100% this,’ she wrote. ‘She’s acting as his publicist. Publicists do this during interviews. People are out for blood.’
Yet Jennifer, who has been married to Bill’s son for eight years, had an extremely different taken when replying to Glaser.
Belichick’s daughter-in-law argued: ‘publicists act in a professional manner and don’t “storm” off set delaying an interview.’
Jennifer married longtime partner Steve back in 2017, with the couple tying the knot at the Siasconset Union Chapel in Nantucket, according to the US Sun.
They’re also parents to four children; daughter Blakely Rose, eight, son Hayes William, four, daughter Quincy Grace, three, and son Rocco Joseph, two.
Steve, 38, has followed his legendary father into coaching, spending 11 years as a member of his Patriots backroom staff before enjoying a brief stint as defensive coordinator for the Washington Huskies after his dad’s exit last year.

And when Belichick made a dramatic move into college football with North Carolina earlier this year, his oldest son followed him and took on the role of defensive coordinator with the Tar Heels.
Brian, who is married to Catherine ‘Callie’ McLaughlin, also worked on his dad’s backroom team in New England before becoming a defensive backs/safeties coach in North Carolina.
As for Amanda, she is currently in her 10th season as the head coach of the College of the Holy Cross’ women’s lacrosse program after taking a different sporting path to the rest of the family.
Belichick’s daughter has been married to longtime partner AJ DeSantis since 2017.
