Revealed: The two NFL quarterbacks who could be traded before the November deadline

With the NFL trade deadline on the horizon, analysts have revealed the two quarterbacks who could still be on the move before it’s all wrapped up.

The NFL trade deadline falls on November 4th and, as we head into Week 5 of the season, there are a few QBs who could be looking to suit up for a new team.

The new season has already seen a number of quarterback changes – with the likes of Browns QB Joe Flacco being benched for rookie Dillon Gabriel earlier this week.

With all this is mind, ESPN’s team of analysts have weighed in on the matter and revealed the two quarterbacks who could be moving on in the coming months.

According to Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano, Giants QB Russell Wilson is the most likely candidate to be traded – however the team might opt to wait before doing so.

‘Wilson’s trade value is also likely very low right now, so the Giants might wait until someone gets desperate to ship him out,’ Graziano explained.

Giants QB Wilson lost his place to rookie Dart after just three games into the new season

Giants QB Wilson lost his place to rookie Dart after just three games into the new season

Rookie Jaxson Dart was handed the keys to Big Blue’s offense last week as veteran Wilson was benched after just three games with his new franchise.

And Dart wasted little time making an impression on the home fans in East Rutherford as he led an 89-yard touchdown drive against the Chargers in his first series.

The former Ole Miss star was surgical on the drive, completing both pass attempts to Malik Nabers before sprinting 15 yards into the end zone on a designed run.

He totaled 28 rushing yards on the drive and danced following his score as MetLife Stadium erupted.

The Daily Mail previously revealed Wilson’s true thoughts on his benching – which came shortly after his disaster performance against the Chiefs last month.

An insider exclusively revealed: ‘This is not the way he [Wilson] wants to go out and he will look and work diligently to play for another team next year. He believes that he is still a starter in the league, and this benching will not define the end of his career’.

Meanwhile, as debate continued, Fowler said that Colts QB Anthony Richardson Sr is another contender to be moved on before the trade deadline slams shut.

Richardson Sr – who was drafted fourth overall back in 2023 – has fallen out of favor in Indianapolis after a string of consistent displays from Daniel Jones.

Jones has led the Colts to a 3-1 start to the season as they head into Week 5 – where they will take on the Raiders – and looks likely to keep hold of his spot.

Speaking on a potential trade, Fowler said: ‘My sense is Richardson would be open to joining a premier playcaller such as Sean McVay as a developmental player so he can reset for 2026’.

Graziano agreed and added: ‘In general, acquiring a starting QB at the trade deadline is tough, because in most cases it’s a guy who must learn a new offense on the fly.

‘By the time he’s up to speed, it could be too late for him to save the season. That’s why someone like Richardson, whom teams might view for development in the long term, makes more sense’.
