Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher had his hair ruffled by an Everton supporting production assistant following the Toffees dramatic late leveller in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday night.
Carragher had been working for CBS Sports on the US coverage of the Champions League.
A clip shared by the show revealed Carragher had been watching the closing stages from the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park with fellow pundits Thierry Henry and Micah Richards.
The panel watched as James Tarkowski fired in a dramatic equaliser for Everton deep into stoppage time.
While it provoked stunning scenes of celebration from Everton fans at Goodison Park as the Toffees snatched a 2-2 draw against the Premier League leaders, a different response came in the studio.
Carragher was seen stony-faced and folded his arms in response to Everton’s equaliser, which saw Premier League leaders Liverpool drop two points in the title race.

Henry could buy heard saying: ‘Jamie, what the f***, oh my god’, while Richards adding ‘Oh my god, Tarky’.
Carragher remained in silence following the equaliser.
When watching the clip back, Carragher admitted: ‘That was a blow… I love football.’
Host Kate Abdo then revealed an Everton supporting production assistant had rubbed salt in Carragher’s wounds on set by ruffling his hair following the draw.
The act provoked laughter in the studio, with Carragher then revealing the pair had been winding each other up about the derby in recent weeks.
‘He’s a massive Evertonian and you know what, he deserves his moment,’ Carragher said.
‘It is not easy being an Evertonian, I know that from when I was a kid, there are very few people who can get away with that [ruffling the hair].’
The production assistant caused further laughter by saying Carragher should ‘stay humble’, a reference to his recent comments about celebrations stemming from Arsenal’s win over Man City.
