It’s been revealed that Donald Trump’s visit to the Super Bowl earlier this year cost over $120,000 for the five-and-a-half-hour trip.
Back in February, Trump sent crowds wild as he took to the field in New Orleans and made history as the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl game.
The 79-year-old strode onto the field with his daughter Ivanka and son Eric to shake hands with players before kickoff at the Superdome – before watching the action.
Now, according to Front Office Sports, it’s been revealed that the Secret Service made payments worth $123,411 in preparation for Trump’s visit to the Super Bowl.
The figure relates to expenses which were listed for hotels and booking services for the trip – with the Secret Service arriving five days before Trump did in New Orleans.
The outlet report that over $65,000 went on booking nine hotels – three of which cost more than $16,000 each. Nearly $18,000 went on the Margaritaville Resort.

A further two payments – totaling around $25,000 – were made for lodging services, with another $7,000 sent to the NFL.
It’s worth noting that the figures do not include other expenses such as meals, travel or agent pay – which would likely see that number soar in value.
During his visit in February, Trump posed for photos with family members of victims in the New Year’s Eve ISIS attack on Bourbon Street and waved to the cheering crowd.
Trump was also spotted shaking hands with Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones, one of the many three-time Super Bowl winners hoping to make it four against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22.
Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies coordinated one of the largest security efforts in Super Bowl history, locking down the most popular parts of the city as part of their efforts.
Drones, armed guards, rooftop snipers and police dogs made up just part of the security package. There was also a giant X-ray machine at the Superdome for vehicles to drive through in order to be scanned for explosives.
Trump, meanwhile, has made a number of public appearances in recent times and, similarly, saw revamped security measures put in place.

The New York Yankees positioned a number of glass panels in front of where Trump sat during their game against the Detroit Tigers last Thursday.
Trump attended the game at Yankee Stadium in The Bronx to mark the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
Asked if he was worried for his own safety, while on the White House lawn before leaving, Trump said: ‘Not really. I’m really concerned for our country.
‘We have a great country. We have a radical left group of lunatics out there, just absolute lunatics and we’re gonna get that problem solved. I’m only concerned for the country.’
