Adam Forshaw relished the moment when he scored against his former side Plymouth Argyle, celebrating in front of their bench, a month after the club terminated his contract.
Blackburn Rovers brought Argyle back down to earth as the relegation strugglers were looking to build on a three-game unbeaten run when they arrived at Ewood Park.
Forshaw’s goal was his first for Rovers since joining in January and opened the scoring in the affair before Tyrhys Dolan doubled the hosts’ lead to secure a 2-0 win.
After finding the back of the net with a looping half-volley, Forshaw wheeled off in celebration and raised his arms out in a Jude Bellingham-esque manner.
He stood metres away from the Argyle bench, and was almost in touching distance of the gaffer, Miron Muslic.
