Applications are now open for the Regional Talent Engines programme
The Regional Talent Engines is a six-month pre-accelerator programme for early-stage founders in Northern England, Northern Ireland, and Wales.
Launched by the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub, this programme aims to help technology entrepreneurs transform their ideas into successful engineering start-ups.
The Regional Talent Engines programme supports
- new innovations from any area of engineering
- original ideas for scalable businesses
- engineers and tech innovators who are committed to testing and developing their idea
Who can apply?
The programme is open to aspiring entrepreneurs who
- are experienced engineers or skilled tech professionals
- want to start a business in Northern England, Northern Ireland or Wales
What can you get?
The Regional Talent Engines programme includes
- £20,000 equity-free grant to support living costs
- access to training workshops, roundtables, and speaker events
- one-to-one business coaching and mentoring
- free lifetime membership to co-working spaces across the UK
