Olympics sensation Raygun is trying to use her notoriety to rake in the cash on a video platform where she’s charging fans for personal messages.
Raygun, whose real name is Rachael Gunn, is charging just $69.26 for a personalised video on Cameo.
The Chicago-based company, which is valued at $1billion, has steadily grown its celebrity presence and fans have been quick to follow.
The likes of former soap stars, AFL greats, models and even former jailbirds-turned-reality stars are on the platform – despite already bringing in the big bucks with their respective careers.
Raygun’s performance in the breakdancing event at the 2024 Paris Olympics launched her to viral fame with her bizarre moves including writhing on the ground like a snake and hopping like a kangaroo.
She received a score of zero in a competition against three opponents and did not progress past the first round.

She was the only competitor in either the men’s or women’s competitions to fail to score.
After her performance, she became the subject of widespread criticism and online bullying.
In September 2024, Raygun was ranked by the World DanceSport Federation as the world’s number one breakdancer.
In November 2024, she announced she was retiring from competitive breakdancing after receiving overwhelming global criticism for her performance at the Olympics.
She joined Cameo on March 2, and while there are no reviews on her page yet, she’s promised a personalised video would be ‘unforgettable’.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Cameo website stated that only seven Raygun videos were available at $69.26, as her rate automatically adjusts based on demand.
‘Book now to lock in the current price before it changes,’ the website said.
That price is well below what Aussie sports stars on the platform charge, including AFL identities Barry Hall ($92 for a message), Ben Cousins ($106), Kevin Sheedy ($212) and Cameron Rayner ($353).
NRL stars Paul Vautin ($106), Wayne Pearce ($134) and James Maloney ($120) also feature on the website.
Gunn has a history of protecting and taking advantage of her brand.
In 2024 she sent a cease and desist letter to the organisers of ‘Breaking: The Musical’ which was to be shown at Sydney’s famous Kinselas venue.
The production was originally billed as ‘a parody exploration of a breakdancer’s journey to the 2024 Paris Olympics’.
Gunn’s lawyers threatened legal action against the venue and its promoter in order to protect their client’s ‘intellectual property’ and ensure ‘her brand remains strong and respected’.
In a trademark filing, Gunn managed to trademark a silhouette image of her performing the kangaroo dance at the Olympics.
