Businesses will begin to receive their rate bills for 2026-27 from the start of April 2026.

Rate bills will begin to issue from Wednesday 1 April 2026, and will continue to be delivered throughout April. The bill will set out

  • the amount due for 2026-27
  • details of any rate relief that has been applied to your account
  • any arrears from previous years that have not been previously paid

Bill and arrears

For further information about how your bill is calculated, methods of payment, and how to get help with paying your rates, see business rates.

You should contact Land and Property Services (LPS) if you think the information on the bill is incorrect or if you have not received a bill.

Rate relief

A range of reliefs and entitlements is available to help ratepayers. To find out more about the rate reliefs available, see help available for business rates.

How to pay your bill

LPS offers a number of payment methods you can use to pay the bill for your business rates. You can select the most convenient payment method that suits you and your business. For more information, see paying business rates.
