UK railway suppliers can apply to join a Department for Business and Trade and Railway Industry Association (RIA) rail trade mission to Spain from 3 to 5 March 2026
This mission covers products and systems for train manufacturing and maintenance. It includes pre-approved one-to-one meetings with officials from four leading Spanish rail companies
- CAF Group – delivers global rail and bus solutions
- Talgo – specialises in high-speed, intercity and commuter rail solutions
- Renfe – has 70% market share in Spanish rail passenger market
- Euskotren – operates rail and trams in Basque Country
Applications are open to UK-registered railway suppliers who must apply via the RIA website and complete a short questionnaire on their products and credentials. Please note that you will be required to create an account if you have not used the RIA booking system before.
Once applications are submitted, Spanish clients will pre-select participants based on aligned interests. You should check the Spanish ‘shopping list’ to see if you match.
Only shortlisted companies will be invited to join the mission.
The application deadline is 23 January 2026, or earlier if all places are filled.
