Your baggage allowance will vary depending on the flight you book and what class you’re travelling, but typically, flights to and from all destinations with economy lite fares includes 20 kg of luggage, 25 kg for standard fares, 30 kg for economy convenience and 35 kg for economy comfort. You’ll also always get one piece of 7 kg hand luggage.
If you do want to add more, you can save up to 20 per cent when you pre-book additional baggage online (up to six hours before departure) or up to 70 per cent when booking in bulk.

What to expect in the Qatar Airways Black Friday sale
Qatar Airways runs some of its biggest discounts during Black Friday, with deals running across the whole weekend through to Cyber Monday. This year, the main event is set to take place on Friday 28 November, however we expect deals to start dropping on the days leading up.
Based on previous years, you can expect up to 20 per cent off solo travel, 25 per cent off economy seats and up to 30 per cent off group bookings for three or more passengers. If you’re planning a holiday, it’s worth checking out the flight and hotel packages, which in previous years have been reduced by up to 40 per cent.
The savings don’t stop there. Last year’s Black Friday sale also included 25 per cent off selected transit tours, including the discover Doha city experience or desert adventures, as well as up to 30 per cent off seat selection fees.
