Decision:
That a new 3-year
seating licence for 12 sq.m. of land at North Shore, Youngs Park,
Goodrington, Paignton, as shown edged red in Appendix 1, be
granted.
Reasons for the decision:
To
provide seating for beach patrons to enjoy services from the
Kiosk.
Alternative options considered:
An
alternative option would be to not agree to a seating licence
however, given the successful trial there are not grounds on which
to object.
Implementation:
This decision will be
implemented immediately.
Information:
The Kiosk at North
Shore has a lease with 6 years remaining and has just completed a
6-month trial seating licence.
Following the successful trial, the Tenant and the Council have
agreed to a 3-year licence for the seating area as shown edged red
in plan EM4236 (Appendix 1).
