Gameweek two of the Premier League has almost come to an end with just reigning champions Liverpool and Newcastle left to play on Monday night.

Manchester United failed to win for a second successive week to pile more misery on Ruben Amorim and those who backed the Red Devils in our brand new game.

Fulham came from behind to claim a deserved point at Craven Cottage with Emile Smith Rowe coming off the bench to cancel out Leny Yoro’s opener.

Crystal Palace’s home clash with Nottingham Forest, which had added spice due to the duo’s fallout over the Eagles’ being expelled from the Europa League, also ended in a draw.

Everton’s first game at their new home saw the Toffees claim all three points against Brighton.

EXPERT PREDICTIONS

Kieran Gill finished with one point from a possible seven

Man City vs Tottenham – HOME WIN – 0 pts

Bournemouth vs Wolves – DRAW – 0 pts

Brentford vs Aston Villa – DRAW – 0 pts

Arsenal vs Leeds – HOME WIN – 1 pt

Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest – AWAY WIN – 0 pts

Everton vs Brighton – DRAW – 0 pts

Fulham vs Man Utd – AWAY WIN – 0 pts

Manchester City loanee Jack Grealish made the difference at Hill Dickinson Stadium by claiming two assists as David Moyes’ side ran out 2-0 winners.

The first match of the day on Saturday saw Tottenham Hotspur upset the apple cart by defeating Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium to the delight of Thomas Frank.

Brennan Johnson and new boy Joao Palhinha were the names on the scoresheet to ensure Spurs started the campaign with two wins from two games.

Arsenal, who also have a 100 per cent record, made light work of their home match with Leeds United by thrashing the top-flight new boys 5-0 with Viktor Gyokeres silencing any early-season critics with a double.

In the other predictor games for this week, Bournemouth and Brentford narrowly defeated Wolves and Aston Villa respectively.

It proved to be a tricky week for our experts with Kieran Gill claiming just one point from a possible seven.

Tom Collomosse finished top of the pile with four points alongside Jack Gaughan, Craig Hope and James Sharpe.

Nathan Salt finished the round with one point while Lewis Steele didn’t add to his score from the first round.
