PEACEPLUS project is helping organisations improve how they measure and report social impact.
A €1.02 million cross-border project has been launched to support social economy organisations in measuring and evidencing social impact.
The Social Value Collaborative (SVC) provides structured training, coaching and digital tools to organisations operating across Northern Ireland and the border counties. The SVC is a partnership between Enterprise Evolution and Catalyst NI. It is supported by the Department for the Economy (DfE) and Women in Business NI, and aims to build capacity within the social economy sector to measure, manage and maximise social impact.
Support available through the Social Value Collaborative project
Social value reflects the wider social, environmental and economic benefits generated by organisational activity beyond financial return. Many organisations face challenges in capturing and reporting this impact in a consistent and credible way.
The Social Value Collaborative addresses these challenges by providing practical support and tools to improve impact measurement and reporting.
Over the next three years, the programme will deliver targeted support through the following activities
- training and support for 60 social economy organisations
- access to a digital platform to streamline impact measurement and reporting
- support to enhance procurement readiness and access public and private funding
- promotion of equality, shared learning and collaboration through a dedicated network
Who can apply
Voluntary groups, community organisations and social enterprises operating across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland may be eligible to take part in the Social Value Collaborative.
