Major tailbacks on the M60 motorway could cause delays to Oasis fans travelling to see the band perform in Manchester, travel chiefs have warned.
The route is at a standstill from Junction 19, close to Heaton Park, to Junction 22 after a serious accident.
Traffic cameras show a large volume of traffic blocking all lanes.
A spokesman for the Bee Network, the local government body responsible for transport, said: “Roads in the surrounding area are likely to be heavily impacted by congestion. For fans travelling to Heaton Park for the Oasis concert please exit the M60 anti-clock wise at junction 21 and if you are traveling clock-wise exit the M60 at junction 17.”
