Employers are encouraged to participate in Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week, taking place from Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February 2026.

Would-be apprentices and employers are being encouraged to release their potential during Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2026.

Led by the Department for the Economy (DfE), Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week will feature events across all regions and occupational sectors, offering practical insights and real opportunities for potential apprentices and employers alike.

Strengthen your workforce with apprenticeships

As an employer, whether a large corporation, a local SME, or a public sector organisation, Apprenticeship Week 2026 can showcase the benefits apprentices bring, how apprenticeships work, and how they are funded. This is your opportunity to discover how apprenticeships can strengthen your workforce, drive innovation, and support long-term business growth.

Apprenticeship Week events

NI Apprenticeship Week brings together local councils, employers, universities, further education colleges, private training providers, and many more partners committed to the development and delivery of apprenticeships.

Apprenticeship Week runs from Monday 2 to Friday 6 February 2026. Through a series of in-person and online events, the week will showcase how apprenticeships can transform the future of apprentices and businesses.

Get your business involved in Apprenticeship Week

Businesses can get involved by hosting their own apprenticeship events or in collaboration with others. To get involved with organising future events, you can email [email protected].

In preparation for NI Apprenticeship Week 2026, DfE has created a short online event proposal form for you to complete with details of any events or promotions you plan to run.

The online form will close at 5pm on Friday 5 December 2025.

Complete the NI Apprenticeship Week 2026 form.
