American football fans are expressing concern and mocking Fox NFL Sunday analyst Terry Bradshaw for his failure to pronounce a star running back’s name.

Bradshaw, one of the longest tenured football analysts in the sport, has heard calls to be fired after he’s been making multiple on-air mistakes.

But after Sunday’s gaffe where he had trouble saying the name of Chicago Bears running back D’Andre Swift.

Bradshaw was tasked with providing a scoring update in the Bears’ contest against the New Orleans Saints when the blunder occurred.

The Hall-of-Famer referred to Swift as ‘Deonday… DeAndre Smith’ before one of his colleagues corrected him. Bradshaw did eventually get Swift’s name right.

While Swift’s name is not the easiest to pronounce, fans were still ruthless in their assessment of Bradshaw’s effort and compared him to former President Joe Biden.

‘Terry Bradshaw is the Joe Biden of NFL studio analysts,’ one fan said.

‘Even THIS guy can’t stand it…,’ another wrote with a GIF of Biden.

One fan commented, ‘Terry’s been done for awhile. Fox hasn’t gotten the memo yet.’

‘The NFL needs to step in at this point and tell Terry he can’t do the highlights. It’s a bad look for the league if he’s mispronouncing everyone’s name every week in front of millions,’ a fan added.

‘Why are they still letting him do the highlights lol,’ said a user.

Bradshaw has been an NFL analyst since 1984 – when the former quarterback quickly signed a television contract soon after his retirement.

He’s been with Fox since 1994 and has been a staple of the network’s broadcasting ever since.
