Netflix’s big NFL day put a spotlight on every facet of the presentation of the gridiron product from the streaming giant, with football fans slamming a key part of the doubleheader on Christmas Day.
The score bug, which shows the downs and yardage, the quarter and time remaining in the frame, as well as many other factors was hated by the diehard NFL fans who tuned in on the holiday.
Netflix paid the NFL $150million for the pair of games between the four playoff-bound AFC teams.
The Chiefs easily handled the Steelers and the Ravens nearly shut out the Texans in a pair of games where the result was rarely in question.
Netflix also had the ginormous task of displaying Beyonce’s halftime performance. with the singer getting stellar reviews online.

Netflix also has the rights for at least one NFL game on a holiday over the next two seasons, giving the streaming giant time to correct any areas where they felt there was mistakes.
Netflix also used the opportunity to draw in a huge audience to advertise for some of their other shows and movies.
Those included WWE wrestlers, with their flagship television show, Monday Night RAW, moving to Netflix permanently on January 6.
