New rates for statutory payments in force from April 2026.
Employers in Northern Ireland should be aware that from April 2026, a number of statutory payment rates will increase for the 2025-26 financial year.
Statutory Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, Shared Parental and Parental Bereavement Pay
From Sunday 5 April 2026, the rate will increase from £187.18 to £194.32 per week for
Statutory Sick Pay
From Monday 6 April 2026, the Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £118.75 to £123.25 per week. The lower earnings limit will rise from £125 to £129.
