New statutory payment rates for 2025-26

New rates for statutory payments in force from April 2025.

Employers should be aware that from April 2025, a number of statutory payment rates will increase for the 2025-26 financial year.

Statutory Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, Shared Parental and Parental Bereavement Pay

From Sunday 6 April 2025, Statutory Maternity Pay, Statutory Paternity Pay, Statutory Shared Parental Pay, Statutory Adoption Pay, and Statutory Bereavement Pay all increase from £184.03 to £187.18 per week.

Statutory Sick Pay

From Sunday 6 April 2025, Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £116.75 to £118.75 per week. The lower earnings limit will rise from £123 to £125.
