Land & Property Services (LPS) has launched a new service which allows ratepayers to manage their accounts online.
The new Rates Online service enables ratepayers to view their accounts, report changes, make payments, and raise queries. Customers can also choose to receive their bills electronically.
Rates Online services
The Rates Online service will enable you to
- view details of your rate account, including the outstanding balance
- view your current bill and previous bills
- receive e-bills (from the date of sign up)
- receive notifications for new bills by email or SMS
- update your contact details
- set up a Direct Debit
- make an online payment
- view information for your properties
- ask for a review of dates in your rate bill
- report buying/selling or moving to a new property
- report a change in the occupancy status of a property
- complete a non-domestic vacancy declaration
- make an application for Article 21 agreement or apply to end an agreement
- request another ratepayer is added to an account
- request to move a property from one account to another
- appoint and manage authorised parties to manage your accounts
- raise a query
- upload documents
- contact LPS
- use a Chatbot for general queries
Access Rates Online
To set up a Rates Online account, you need to have your own nidirect account. You will also need your Ratepayer and Account identification numbers to link your Rate Account to Rates Online.
