We’re pleased to announce that Great British Nuclear (GBN) will become the new company partner to the Nuclear Institute’s Young Generation Network (YGN) from April 2025. This three-year partnership was announced by Alys Gardner, GBN’s Head of Skills and Development Strategy, at the National Skills Academy for Nuclear (NSAN) Skills Symposium on 20 March.
The YGN plays a crucial role in fostering talent across the industry, providing early-career professionals with the networks, knowledge, and opportunities to grow.

Opportunities for collaboration include setting up a Young People’s Network at GBN and supporting the development of our early careers schemes including support on connecting with the next generation looking to join the sector, engaging with schools to inspire the next generation and championing the YGN throughout the sector and supply chain. Together, we will build the workforce needed to deliver the UK’s new nuclear future.
