Every month, Netflix removes a large number of movies and TV shows from its library.

While the streaming service regularly adds a bursting list of titles to its service, it also takes things down – and does so without warning subscribers in the UK.

This means that certain things you’ve been meaning to get around to viewing after adding them to your watchlist may suddenly disappear. Netflix Original titles are no longer safe from these removals, either.

The Independent has compiled a full list of every single movie and TV series being taken down in June 2026 – which includes Big Boys, Jack Rooke’s Bafta-winning coming-of-age sitcom starring Dylan Llewellyn and Jon Pointing as first-year university students.

Big Boys, based on Rooke’s real life, ran for three series, from 2022 to 2025, and is considered one of the best sitcoms to have aired in the last 20 years.

Another title leaving Netflix is Copycat, a psychological thriller released in 1995, starring Sigourney Weaver as Dr Helen Hudson, a criminal psychologist who becomes agoraphobic after almost being killed by her previous subject, the fictional Daryll Lee Cullum (Harry Connick Jr).

It soon emerges that Cullum is committing crimes based on previous murders, and with the help of two San Francisco police officers, played by Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney, Hudson hunts him down.

Upon its release, the film, directed by Jon Amiel, was a moderate box office success, grossing $79m (£58.6m) from a budget of $27m (£24m).

It wasn’t until the film was released on VHS that Copycat started generating a big following, becoming a word-of-mouth success and earning praise that belied its initially middling reviews.

Now, 30 years on, the film is considered one of the most intelligent, taut and creepy thrillers of the 1990s, even being called “the most underrated” film of the decade by new viewers.
