The February 8 Super Bowl in Santa Clara will have two sideline reporters as NBC has announced that Kaylee Hartung will work alongside network star Melissa Star.

This marks the second time NBC has opted for two sideline reporters for the big game.

This marks a first Super Bowl for Hartung, who will be also reporting from the Bears’ sideline on Sunday when Chicago hosts the Los Angeles Rams on NBC. Hartun has previously worked four NFL playoff games and has been a sideline reporter for Prime Video’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ since its debut in 2022.

The Baton Rouge native also worked as a correspondent for NBC’s ‘TODAY’ show and was a reporter for CBS News, ESPN, CNN and ABC News.

NFL fans seemed to approve of the decision.

‘That’s wonderful news – we’re so happy to have Kaylee with us!’ one wrote on X.

Long-time play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico will also be making his Super Bowl debut on February 8 when he calls the game alongside former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Cris Collinsworth. The 66-year-old color commentator will be calling his fifth Super Bowl after playing in a pair, both of which the Bengals lost to the San Francisco 49ers.

Tirico, Maria Taylor, Ahmed Fareed and Noah Eagle will work multiple events in February as NBC broadcasts the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and the NBA All-Star Game in addition to Super Bowl LX.

Tirico, who will be hosting NBC’s primetime Olympic coverage for the fifth time, will begin hosting from Italy on February 10 until the conclusion of the games on February 22.

He will also be part of NBC’s debut of ‘Sunday Night Basketball’ on February 1 when he calls the Los Angeles Lakers-New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden.

Taylor will be the lead host of the Super Bowl pregame for the first time. On February 7, she will be the primetime host of Olympics coverage and then will be the late-night host from Italy beginning on February 10. This will be the fourth Olympics assignment for Taylor, who joined NBC in 2021.

Taylor will also host the debut of ‘Basketball Night in America’ on February 1.

Fareed will anchor the NBA All-Star Weekend coverage from Inglewood, California, February 13-15 as well as being the daytime host of Olympics coverage on February 7.

Eagle, the son of long-time announcer Ian, will call his first NBA All-Star Game on February 15 as well as All-Star Saturday. He will also be part of the Super Bowl pregame and has NBA games on February 1 (Oklahoma City at Denver) and February 22 (Boston at Los Angeles Lakers).

Today show co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin will also be part of Olympics coverage. Guthrie will host the Opening Ceremony with Terry Gannon February 6 and then ‘Primetime in Milan’ on February 9. Melvin has the Late Night show from February 7-9.
