The Spurs have been forced to disinfect their locker rooms ahead of their game against the Heat, following a rap concert held in the same arena a night prior.

San Antonio, who are 4-0 to start the new season, will host the Heat at Frost Bank Center on Thursday – however there are concerns over the state of the arena.

On Wednesday evening, just one day before the game, rapper NBA YoungBoy held a show at Frost Bank, as part of his ‘Make America Slime Again’ tour.

Now, Miami Heat beat writer Ira Winderman reports that the Spurs have been forced to ‘close and disinfect’ the locker rooms in preparations for the game.

It marks the third time that the Heat have found themselves playing in a stadium post-NBA Youngboy and Winderman notes ‘it smells that same as the first two’.

The rapper’s concerts have drawn criticism in recent months after a traumatized grandfather was brutally assaulted by a 14-year-old boy during one of his shows.

Thomas Schlange, 66, was beaten while working inside the T-Mobile Center on Sunday night at a NBA YoungBoy concert after asking the violent teen to move to the correct seat.

The boy – who has not been named or charged over the attack – hurled Schlange to the floor and bludgeoned him with his fists – breaking his nose.

Speaking with Fox4, Schlange said: ‘I mean it is serious; I went down and had blows to my head.’

Recalling the attack, he added: ‘Just getting him off, getting him off of me…because he was so enraged, so we were just, in essence, trying to protect the fans.

‘I think people should be able to go to T-Mobile or any other venue in the city, purchase a ticket and enjoy their show. And they should not be interrupted by people who misbehave.’

He has worked at the arena for nearly two decades, adding that he never thought he would be a victim of such a violent assault.

Prior to the confrontation Schlange was informed that a young man was not in the correct seat and in the wrong area by revelers.

After going to question the teenager, Schlange was speared to the ground over a chair by the youth in footage that has sparked disgust online.

The unnamed boy closes in on Schlange with his fists clenched, the man attempts to try a put distance between himself and the boy who launches a barrage of punches.

As he does, the crowd around the two erupts into screams as audience members try to intervene in the frenzied attack.

Eventually, the entitled boy was dragged away from him as Schlange was seen laying on the ground in a heap – having lost his glasses.
