Zaire Wade, the son of Basketball Hall of Famer Dwyane Wade, has been arrested in Burbank, California on suspicion of domestic violence.
According to NBC 4 Los Angeles, police responded to a home around 5:30am on Sunday after a neighbor called 9-1-1 when they heard a woman screaming.
After police arrived, the outlet says, they found Zaire Wade and a woman who had lacerations on her face and body.
The outlet says police spoke to the two parties involved before eventually arresting Wade on suspicion of felony domestic violence as well as criminal threats and false imprisonment.
Paramedics arrived at the scene, but the unnamed woman was not transported to the hospital, sources told NBC. Authorities said that a handgun was taken from the house.
Wade posted $50,000 bond and was released later in the day, per the report. Police also issued an emergency protective order.

Wade followed in the footsteps of his father and became a professional basketball player – albeit, experiencing a different level of success.
A three-star prospect out of high school, Zaire received scholarship offers to play basketball at DePaul, Rhode Island, Nebraska and Toledo.
Ultimately, he turned all those offers down and chose to immediately make the jump to playing professionally.
He was selected 10th overall in the 2021 G-League Draft by the Salt Lake City Stars, an affiliate of the Utah Jazz and played just 12 games in the 2021-22 season.
From there, he moved overseas and played with the Cape Town Tigers of the Basketball Africa League.
