Fresh from their Queensland road trip, Nathan Cleary and Mary Fowler shared some more snaps of what they’ve been getting up to over the festive period.
The Aussie sporting power couple were seen last week enjoying a road trip up to Far North Queensland with some members of Fowler’s family.
The group that consisted of some of Fowler’s siblings, took a hike through a forestry area before sitting by a creek and playing with the family dog. They were also spotted stopping off to take a snap at the Big Mango, just outside Bowen.
While they have been catching up with family and friends over Christmas, it appears the Manchester City star and the Penrith Panther’s halfback have been enjoying some time on their own, with the pair appearing to jet off for a romatic beach holiday to the Whitsundays.
Fowler is currently on a winter break from football, with the Matildas star, who has scored twice in all competitions in her last four appearances for the Cityzens, set to return on Monday, January 13, to take on Ipswich.
Cleary, meanwhile, is currently undergoing rehab after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury that has troubled the Penrith ace for most of last season.

Cleary’s recovery from shoulder surgery is set to take around three to four months to complete
His recovery is set to take around three to four months to complete, with Cleary having now done away with his arm sling. The 27-year-old also recently revealed that he had been eating sea moss to help get him back to full fitness sooner.
On Sunday, both Fowler and Cleary shared snaps on their Instagram accounts, with the NRL player making a comment that many Penrith fans will be pleased to hear.
He wrote: ‘Batteries are charged.’
Fowler’s Instagram caption read: ‘The cute holiday pics he took,’ which prompted Cleary to reply in the comments.
He appeared to joike: ‘The last one is simply immaculate,’ making reference to a snap of Fowler asleep during a flight.
It has been a whirlwind few years for both stars, with Cleary leading the Panthers to four consecutive premiership titles.
Fowler, meanwhile, opted out of the Matildas’ recent home fixtures against Brazil and Chinese Taipei, citing her mental and physical wellness as a reason for stepping back from the national side.
Fowler has also enjoyed a busy start to the 2024-25 season making 17 appearances for City in the WSL and Women’s Champions League.

The pair posted several snaps of each other enjoying a hike on the coast, while also sharing a snap of the pair going to get coffee on the beach.
Cleary was pictured laying back in a hammock, while Fowler stopped to pose for a snap on a hill in front of the sunset.
The sporting duo are understood to have been dating since November 2023 and were recently pictured enjoying a hike up to Burleigh Heads, before stopping to take in the view over Tallebudgera Creek.
After Cleary clinched his fourth successive Premiership title with the Panthers in October, he jetted out to the United Kingdom to spend time with Fowler, with the pair first being pictured at the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.
Cleary and Fowler would enjoy multiple trips around Europe, including a getaway to Mallorca, before Cleary would return to undergo surgery on his shoulder.
And with the NRL season fast approaching now, Cleary recently lifted the lid on how his recovery has been progressing.
‘It’s pretty much a three or four-month recovery so it’s been good so far. I came back to training yesterday (on Thursday) and it’s been good so far,’ Cleary said to NewsWire.
‘I’m slowly ticking the boxes and then it’ll start ramping up after Christmas. I’m a little bit ahead of schedule which is cool.
‘There are a few guys at the club who have come back from shoulder surgery and everyone is doing really well. We’re all progressing well together.’
