A person has been arrested on suspicion of murder in relation to the disappearance of a man last seen a week ago.
Craig Foy was last seen on Bury Old Road in Prestwich, near Kenyon Lane, on 26 July, Greater Manchester Police said.
The 40-year-old left an address on King’s Close in Prestwich alone and on foot just after 23:30 BST and walked in the direction of Bury Old Road. He was seen on CCTV climbing into Heaton Park shortly before midnight.
The force said three men had been arrested on suspicion of murder, with one suspect since released on bail and two others to face no further action.
Mr Foy is described as about 5ft 5in (1.5m) tall, of slim build with dark hair that is shaved on the sides and was last seen wearing a black cap, square glasses, black T-shirt, black cargo trousers and black Nike trainers.
Det Ch Insp Jill Billington said: “At this time we don’t where Craig is, whether he’s come to harm, and whether anyone else is involved.
“We are now focusing on Heaton Park and the surrounding area. We have officers in and around the park carrying out searches for Craig and they will remain there for several days.
“Any witnesses who may have seen him or spoken to him should contact police.
“We are also appealing for drivers with any dashcam footage that may have captured Craig’s movements and ask homeowners and businesses to check their CCTV and doorbell cameras.”
