Brittany Mahomes has some huge news to celebrate after it emerged she is going into the Hall of Fame at the University of Texas Tyler for her impressive soccer career from 2013-16.
Her college is commemorating what it describes as ‘one of the strongest careers in UT Tyler women’s soccer history’ where she scored 31 goals in 74 games.
‘I’m honored to be inducted,’ Mahomes said. ‘My time at UT Tyler played a huge role in shaping my life, career, and the person I am today.’
She paid tribute to her coach, Stefani Webb, and will be officially inducted on March 28th in ceremony open to only close friends and family.
‘I’m especially grateful to Coach Webb – her belief in me, leadership, and constant support had an incredible impact on my journey both on and off the field,’ Mahomes added.
‘UT Tyler will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m so thankful for the experiences and the people who were part of making my time in Tyler one I will never forget.’

Mahomes enjoyed an impressive soccer career at the University from 2013-16
After leaving UT Tyler, Mahomes had a brief spell playing soccer in Iceland and headed to Europe shortly after the Kansas City Chiefs picked her now-husband Patrick Mahomes in the NFL Draft.
These days, she is well known across the United States as one of the most famous WAGs in the NFL, with her husband Patrick leading the Chiefs to three Super Bowls so far in his career.
She’s also a mother of three – the childhood sweethearts have two daughters and a son. But amid her rising profile away from being a sporting star, Mahomes is still involved in women’s soccer.
She, alongside Patrick, is a co-owner of NWSL team Kansas City Current and helped oversee the build of the world’s first soccer stadium purose-built for a women’s team.
‘Brittany’s outstanding playing career was unmatched, as she found the net with frequency. Her career pales only in comparison to the incredible work she has been doing to advance women in sport,’ UT director of athletics Sam Ferguson said.
The Chiefs quarterback, meanwhile, is on the comeback trail after tearing his ACL in December during his team’s loss against Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium.
He underwent surgery the next day is already battling to be healthy for the start of the 2026 season, which starts in the first week of September.
