Mohamed Salah has insisted that Liverpool shouldn’t be complacent despite being eleven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool took another step towards winning the title with a 2-0 victory away to Manchester City, with Salah opening the scoring before Dominik Szoboszlai also found the net.
Salah was impressed by Liverpool’s performance against City but insisted that they cannot get carried away at this stage.
Salah told Sky Sports: ‘It is incredible. It is a very hard place to come and play here. They are a tough team and they have an incredible manager I am glad in the end we won the game. It is special. Especially when you are in the title race, it is incredible.
‘Hopefully we keep calm because sometimes the pressure gets to us. We try to win each game.’
Liverpool are eleven points ahead of Arsenal, with the Gunners having a game in hand.

On an individual note Salah has enjoyed an incredible campaign which has encompassed him scoring scoring 25 goals and providing 16 assists in 27 Premier League appearances.
Salah scored 32 league goals in his first season at Liverpool in 2017-18 but says that he prefers his current situation.
The winger is determined to help Liverpool get over the line and win his second league title with the club following on from their success in the 2019-20 campaign.
Asked if he is better than ever, Salah said: ‘I don’t know. It is opinion. Maybe people prefer my first seasons or now but I prefer now because winning the league, helping the young players, it is special.
‘We need another title. Me and the big guys in the team, we need another title.’
Liverpool will be looking to secure another victory on Wednesday when they host Newcastle.
Although his main focus will be on team accolades, Salah will also be eager to win the Premier League golden boot.
Salah is currently six goals ahead of Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland, who are both on 19 league goals this campaign.
