Cricket great Michael Clarke has re-listed his east Sydney mansion on the real estate market just weeks after his former real estate agent claimed he might not obtain his asking price of $20million.

Clarke had been working with Highland Double Bay agent Bill Malouf when the spectacular Vaucluse property first went up for sale in November last year.

But the 45-year-old has since turned to Steven Chen and Yioti Apostol, agents at The Agency in Sydney’s swanky eastern suburbs.

Australia’s 43rd Test captain is still hoping to bank $20million for the incredible house, despite times being tough for buyers.

Clarke revealed the news about the change in agent on Instagram.

His post featured photos of the lavish property, which has been renovated by the cricket great since he bought it in 2021.

The five-bedroom, five-bathroom property is located in one of Sydney’s most exclusive eastern suburbs.

Clarke has made many improvements to the ‘European-inspired’ property since he moved in.

Real estate experts initially predicted the sprawling 778-square-metre home could fetch well over $20million, according to Domain.

The luxury resort-style home spans three levels, with oversized living spaces, an airy open-plan design, a pool, and a private formal dining room.

It boasts a first-floor kitchen and dining spaces that flow onto an entertainment deck, while the second storey offers a verandah and lounge area.

Meanwhile, the main bedroom spans an entire corner of the second floor, complete with a walk-in dressing room, ensuite, and private balcony.

It is also accessed via a grand entranceway.

Clarke splashed about $13million on the sprawling five-bedroom property when he bought it.

Clarke’s decision to go with another agency comes weeks after his previous agent made strong comments about the state of the market.

‘There has been an adjustment,’ Malouf said in March.

‘It’s ridiculous what’s happening in the world, fuel prices going through the roof and Trump thinking he’s king of the world.

‘I heard this morning that Americans are wanting to move to New Zealand.’
