This is the awkward moment that Micah Richards was absent from CBS Sports’ presentation of the Europa League final before kick-off.
Richards regularly appears on the network in addition to working as a pundit for Sky Sports in the UK.
However, while former Premier League legends Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane were seen in the studio.
With Manchester United in action, the ex-City defender appeared to be affected by nerves as he was caught taking a bathroom break while the show was live on air.
Carragher subsequently joked that he was ‘having immodium’.
Fortunately, a producer in the background of the set can be heard confirming that the ex-right back was ‘okay’.

Keane can also be seen smirking in the background while Richards was nowhere to be seen in the broadcast.
Responding to the clip on social media, one user joked: ‘Micah’s cracking under the spotlight – but still bringing the laughs as always!’
A second added: ‘Micah can’t handle the pressure’.
Once the final kicked off, it was played at a frenetic pace, with both sides having decent spells of possession.
However, Spurs managed to get the crucial breakthrough when Luke Shaw inadvertently diverted the ball into his own net following a cross from Pape Matar Sarr.
As both sides will finish outside of the European places in the Premier League – with Man United in 16th and Spurs in 17th – the final at San Mames has an added element of importance for two sides who would otherwise expect to be in Europe.
However, disappointing domestic campaigns for Ange Postecoglou and Ruben Amorim mean the two finalists will finish the 2024-25 season in their lowest-ever Premier League positions.
