Miami Dolphins fan’s vulgar verdict on quarterback Tua Tagovailoa caught on camera

The Miami Dolphins’ season hit rock bottom on Thursday Night Football when they suffered their seventh defeat and their fans didn’t hide their frustration.

The Dolphins fell to 2-7 as they were humiliated in a 28-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens as Lamar Jackson returned from injury.

And the frustration of their fans was palpable inside Hard Rock Stadium, with many flooding to the exits in the third quarter as Baltimore took a 22-point lead. Those who remained did so with brown paper bags or popcorn buckets covering their heads.

One fan’s particularly enraged reaction was caught on Amazon’s broadcast as he took aim at quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

As the camera panned to the stands after a failed play from Tagovailoa, the fan, sporting a black Dolphins jersey, was captured shouting, ‘Holy f***ing special needs,’ while furiously gesturing at the field.

He wasn’t the only one to be seen in despair as another man repeatedly gave an emphatic thumbs-down gesture, while another looked up to the sky with his hands on his head in apparent agony.

The Dolphins’ night was summarized by a series of costly mistakes – just days after an impressive win over the Atlanta Falcons.

In the first quarter, the Dolphins faced a fourth-and-1 at the Ravens’ 12-yard line and decided to go for it. However, offensive lineman Larry Borom false started, resulting in a damning five-yard penalty.

The Dolphins ultimately missed the 35-yard field goal and came away from the drive with zero points.

Following the game, Tagovailoa appeared to blame the visiting fans for the error as they made themselves heard in the Dolphins’ own backyard.

‘I would say with the Ravens fans, it maybe got a little muffled with my cadence and the crowd noise,’ Tagovailoa said. ‘We talked about that on the sideline after and got that corrected.’

Miami also suffered a turnover inside their red zone that the Ravens cashed in with their first touchdown, while their defenders collided with each other resulting in a touchdown pass.

The airplane with the sign calling for coach Mike McDaniel´s firing that flew before the previous three home games didn´t appear on Thursday. But jeering from fans intensified during the second half as Miami´s record dropped to 2-7.

‘Yeah, it sucks. I think it´s a pretty consistent formula of fans enjoy winning,’ McDaniel said. ‘Our expectation is we have to do the work and do the right things for fans to enjoy the experience and unfortunately, we didn´t do that tonight.’
