Salford have re-signed Warrington Wolves half-back Marc Sneyd on a deal to begin from next season.

The 35-year-old joins for his third spell with the club having started his senior career with them in 2010 before returning in 2022.

Sneyd joined the Wire in March 2025 on an 18-month deal when the formerly named Red Devils were enduring a financially troubled season which culminated in their relegation from Super League and subsequent takeover and rebranding late last year.

“Timing was a big one for me. I spoke to Ryan [Brierley – CEO] and the coaches and their ambition really stood out,” he said.

“The club is at a brand new stage, but I want to help the club get back to the level the club wants to be at. Hopefully next year we can build on what the club has already built this season.”

Having come through the club’s academy, Sneyd has made a total of 136 Salford appearances across his two spells.

“I was here when the club went through administration, and I know first hand how difficult it was for Sneydy to leave,” Brierley added.

“To now have the opportunity to bring him home, and give him the chance to finish this chapter in a Salford shirt, feels incredibly special.”
