Love up for the cup
Today is the one day of the year I adore. It’s a chance for me to enjoy spending time with what I love and show my appreciation for it.
No, not Valentine’s Day… FA Cup fourth round day.
Lovebirds, cancel the table for two today, and bed in for what is going to be a cracking afternoon and evening of cup footie.
The magic of the cup is simply something that can’t be beaten; no partner can make you feel the way this competition can. Or maybe I’m just a loser. Who knows?
Anyway, today our focus is on Manchester City, who take the next step in their chase for silverware, as they take on Salford City on their own patch.
All I can say is: good luck, Salford…
I’d normally try to big up a potential shock, but if you watched this very fixture in this competition last season, you know that is very much unlikely.
