Manchester United are ready to put Rasmus Hojlund up for sale, according to reports.

The Red Devils are still reeling from their Europa League final defeat by Tottenham – after a scrappy first-half goal from Brennan Johnson – on Wednesday evening.

Mail Sport revealed that, regardless of whether United won or lost the Europa League Final, yet another overhaul appears inevitable at Old Trafford.

Amorim would prefer to sign rough diamonds instead of ready-made stars to rebuild United as they look to bounce back from their dismal campaign this season.

Now, a report claims that United are willing to add Hojlund to a list – featuring Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho – of players that they are willing to sell.

Manchester Evening News claim that United will prioritise the sales of the aforementioned trio however they are not opposed to parting ways with Hojlund.

The Dane joined United for £72million back in 2023 however, with just 26 goals scored from 94 appearances, the Red Devils are searching for new striker options.

Recently, it was reported that United had stepped up their efforts to land Liam Delap from Ipswich – who has a £30million release clause following their relegation.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are already closing in on the stunning £62.5million swoop for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.

Elsewhere in the squad, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof will be released while central defender Jonny Evans is expected to hang up his boots.

During the Europa League final against Spurs, Hojlund struggled to have an impact on the match and was substituted off for fellow forward Joshua Zirkzee in the second-half.

After the match, United legend Roy Keane insisted that Amorim’s side lacked quality in depth and called on them to bolster the squad during the summer.

‘Just when you think things can’t get any worse for Man United. It’s been the story all year,’ blasted Keane.

‘They’ve been getting out of jail with European football and it’s been covering the huge cracks at Man United. All season they have been so easy to beat.

‘They got lucky a few times in Europe and then tonight again, ultimately it’s not good enough.

‘They didn’t show enough quality. Not enough options off the bench.

‘If you’re depending on Harry Maguire to get you out of jail you’re in trouble.’
