It’s been a tough few years for former Man United star, Wes Brown.
The 45-year-old, who played 362 times for Man United, endured the break-up of his marriage in 2022 and was declared bankrupt the following year.
Now, however, things appear to be turning around for Brown with the two-time Champions League winner having found love again.
Brown has been discreetly dating a businesswoman for the past year and went public with the relationship last week by posting a snap of the pair together to celebrate her 41st birthday.
Amy, who resembles Cheryl Cole, works in aesthetics sales and lives in the same area as Wes.
An insider told The Sun: ‘Wes and Amy have been together for over a year now and things are going really well between them.

‘She is really successful and has her own thing going on. She is well liked in Cheshire and people think they are a great match.’
Brown split from his wife – Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne – in 2022. The couple, who had three children, were together for more than 20 years and wed in 2009.
Brown was then declared bankrupt in 2023 – a huge shock for a man who earned £50,000 a week at one stage during his 15-year stay at Old Trafford.
Last November, the former defender bravely opened up about his money woes which stemmed from a series of property deals that went wrong.
‘It was a tough ride,’ he told The Express.
‘It’s something that is hard to deal with on your own at times. But luckily I still do quite a lot of work and I’m able to carry on now moving forward. Today I’m one more day out of it.’
Brown is now helping ensure the mistakes he made aren’t repeated by the current generation.

The ex-defender also represented England 23 times and was in the 2002 World Cup squad

One of his current working roles involves educating athletes on financial literacy and due diligence, the sort of guidance badly missing during the height of his own fame.
‘I always feel if I could have the time again I would have more people in the room, and would have taken advice from people,’ he added.
‘But that wasn’t available at the time. If anything, with that you get the pros and cons, and I feel that’s much easier doing when you’ve got people you trust in the room.’
As well as his illustrious career at Man United where he won five Premier League titles, Brown also played for England 23 times and had spells at Blackburn and Sunderland.
