An anonymous attorney in the Sunshine State has laid a $1million bet on the Seahawks’ moneyline bet at -230 odds, according to VegasInsider’s Patrick Everson.
If it’s successful, the person would win $434,782.61 off the backs of Seattle’s hard work.

Adding a happy spin to the story, the anonymous bettor has pledged to donate the winnings to pediatric cancer research if he’s successful.
Seattle is looking to win the franchise’s second title 12 years after they defeated the Denver Broncos in a lopsided victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.
But the following season, they fell in Arizona to the Patriots when Seahawks QB Russell Wilson tossed an interception to New England cornerback Malcolm Butler.
This time, the Patriots aren’t nearly as strong as they were back then – with the 2025 team engineering a remarkable one-season turnaround after finishing with one of the worst records in the league last year.
In this past season, New England finished with the second-best record in football and managed to conquer the elements to beat the Broncos in snowy Denver for the AFC Championship.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks were the best team in the NFC and beat the division rival Los Angeles Rams to book a return trip to the Super Bowl.
