Video footage shows police officers appearing to apprehend a man after two people were stabbed in Golders Green.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Wednesday morning (29 April), following reports a man armed with a knife was “attempting to stab Jewish members of the public”, Jewish neighborhood watch group Shomrim said.

The man was reportedly detained by members of the public before police officers tasered and arrested him.

The two people stabbed are said to be receiving treatment by Hatzola, a Jewish volunteer ambulance service.

Sir Keir Starmer has condemned the “utterly appalling” attack and vowed that “those responsible will be brought to justice”.
