A man has been charged after the wife of Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was robbed outside a restaurant.
Melanie Kamayou was robbed of a Rolex watch and Hermes bag outside San Carlo restaurant in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, on 29 March, Cheshire Police said.
Liam Ross, of High Street in Wibsey, Bradford, appeared before Chester Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with one count of robbery.
The 25-year-old also faced one count of being concerned in the supply of cannabis. Mr Ross will next appear at Chester Crown Court on 2 May.
