World champion Luke Littler shocked pub regulars by making a surprise appearance, before taking on locals at darts.

Littler appeared at the The Feathers Inn in Lichfield, with the family-run pub having won a KP Nuts competition to host the darts sensation for one night with their local community.

The Feathers Inn was randomly selected as the winner from hundreds of entries from across the country.

Littler, who signed a lucrative deal with KP Nuts in 2024, played matches with the pub’s darts team and chatted with regulars.

‘Nights like this are what it’s all about,’ said Littler.

‘The atmosphere was unreal – everyone was so welcoming and up for a game.

‘KP Nuts have been brilliant at helping bring moments like this to life, and I loved meeting the locals and throwing a few darts with them.’

The competition part of KP Nuts ‘Nuts for Darts campaign’ which is aimed at highlighting the role pubs play in both the community and culture.

Andy Matthews was among members of the pub’s darts team who had the chance to take on Littler.

‘I can’t believe we’ve just played against Luke ‘The Nuke’ Littler,’ Matthews said.

‘For a little darts team in Lichfield to win this is unbelievable.

‘The world champion walking into our local – everyone’s faces were a picture. It’s not something you get to do everyday.’

Two-time world champion Littler is set to return to action on Thursday in the Darts Premier League in Antwerp.

Littler will be seeking to bounce back from losing in his opening match in the first round of the Premier League in Newcastle.

The 19-year-old has still enjoyed a stunning 2026 to date, having clinched his second world title at Alexandra Palace at the start of January.

Littler has since clinched the World Masters title, with the European Championships now the only major televised event he has yet to win.
