Luka Doncic has asked a judge to dismiss his ex-fiancee’s petition for child support and attorney fees after claiming she filed it in the wrong country, according to reports.
Earlier this month it was revealed that the NBA superstar, 27, has separated from fashion and fitness model Anamaria Goltes, 28, amid their bitter legal battle.
Goltes returned to Slovenia, the couple’s home country, last May with their daughter Gabriela while pregnant with second girl Olivia – and has remained there ever since.
And according to TMZ, that is exactly why Doncic is calling for the petition she filed in California to be thrown out.
The Los Angeles Lakers point guard and attorney Laura Wasser have filed documents asking an LA County judge to dismiss it based on the fact he is not a California resident, nor are his daughters.
Doncic also reportedly claims to have tried to convince Goltes to move there with their children, only for his partner to refuse – which is believed to have led to their break-up.

He also told the judge that he filed a petition in Slovenia before she submitted child support documents in California earlier this month, which addressed both that issue and custody of the children.
According to Doncic, who is on a three-year contract worth $165million with the Lakers, he already covers all expenses for two-year-old Gabriela and three-month-old Olivia.
He is therefore asking the court to dismiss the petition for being procedurally defective and legally improper. Daily Mail has contacted Laura Wasser for comment.
Daily Mail exclusively revealed earlier this week that Doncic has quietly filed an injunction demanding to see his two young daughters after Goltes suddenly relocated to Slovenia.
After he took time away from the court to travel to Slovenia for his daughter’s birth in December, the couple’s brief reunion sparked a family rift that is now on track to becoming a bitter transatlantic custody battle.
During his visit, Doncic reportedly begged Goltes to allow Gabriela to return to California with him after she’d given birth to Olivia, before police were eventually called to Kranj Maternity Hospital as the dispute turned ugly.
He had ‘peacefully left the hospital’ before she made the call, with cops later arriving at the scene to interview her. They are also understood to have interviewed the basketball player at his home.

Officers ‘did not detect any elements of a criminal offense or misdemeanor’ perpetrated by Doncic, according to the police report.
Following his return to the court with the Lakers last week, Doncic was asked about juggling his performances with family drama.
‘That’s life, I don’t know what to say,’ he reportedly answered in Slovenian. ‘But that’s my job so I have to be here. They pay me a lot to play for them so… and also basketball is giving me some kind of peace when I play a game.’
Doncic and Goltes started dating in 2016 after knowing each other since their youth, before getting engaged seven years into the relationship.
They welcomed their first daughter, Gabriela, in November 2023 before Olivia was born late last year.
